Miss U.S.A. wins K-W Title
	The Kitchener-Waterloo Pageant is highly recognized in the United States as well.  Some very high profile U.S.A. individuals have won the honour of Miss K-W Oktoberfest.  The following year after the queen's reign, the queen is welcomed back to Ontario to pass on her crown to the new Miss Oktoberfest.  Miss K-W Oktoberfest 1973	A Miss USA also won the K-W honour. The Pageant attracts contestants from all over North America.
