The Miss West Coast Oktoberfest Pageant offers women between the ages of 19 - 27 many positive, possibly life altering changes. The first two weeks of August will prove to be a very challenging and rewarding experience for the chosen delegates. Fashion shows, workshops on choreography, modelling, talent and stage acting classes will all be part of their busy itinerary. As these delegates will also be raising funds for the B.C. Children's Hospital, they will be visiting there on at least one occasion.
There will be many different prizes awarded during pageant night. Not only will a Miss Oktoberfest be crowned, but there will be four runner-up prizes given, as well as awards for Miss Gemuetlichkeit (congenial spirit award), top talent, swimsuit and best actor.
